In the middle of the Pyrenees of Aragon and in the province of Huesca, the Jacetania and Alto Gállego and, specifically, the Gallego Valley and Tena Valley are the locations chosen to celebrate the International Trail Festival. This beautiful area of the Pyrenees has all the characteristicsnecessary to host this event, where the natural environment and its infrastructure play an essential role. The Jacetania belongs to the river Aragon valley and it’s where we can find an important enclave such as Canfranc and its majestic station, a hub of communication with France via the Somport tunnel together with the two of the oldest ski resorts in Spain: Candanchú and Astún, landmarks in the winter panorama.
The Pyrenees International Trail Festival will be held during eight days with an extensive programme of activities that we hope will be able to address all of the concerns of Trail Running lovers. Beginning on Saturday, 1 July the Festival will offer different spaces for participation, chats, round tables, exhibitions, screenings, conferences, contests, competitions, etc. each day. But, above all, we hope to offer those who wish to participate or be a spectator in any of its areas, more than 190 hours of experiences, challenges, adventures and sensations to share and enjoy. “With PyreneesFIT we want to do a360º Trail.
